Beomeosa Temple photographs

We went to a temple outside of a town called Busan.  It was set in the mountains next to a beautiful river with large, moss covered rocks, beautiful trees, & bamboo.  No matter where you aimed the camera you were sure to get a good photograph.

This is an ornate awning of one of the temples, which you find on all the temples.

This is a close up of the beeds that are hanging on the wall of the above temple.

I love bamboo!  It is so peaceful and beautiful.  I am still in awe that I live somewhere where bamboo grows.

Just an interesting temple door.

A glimpse of the gorgeous view.

These dolls & Buddahs were tucked underneath a rock outside of the large, main temple.  There were at least 20 or more of them , placed there as offerings.  Some of them looked quite weathered, so I imagine they have been there for years.

Writing carved into a rock outside of the main temple.  The dolls are under this rock.

This tree is huge.  The camera does not capture how big it is without a reference point.  So just trust me when I say, "huge".  :)

I love this.  It's a dragon fly resting on a pile of rocks that were placed there by the many visitors.
